In the margins of the 44th Session of the UN Statistical Commission, PARIS21 held a side meeting to discuss the diversification of actors (both on the user and producer side) in statistics and how to bring them together more systematically.
From 28 to 29 November 2012, the ASEAN Secretariat, Eurostat, and PARIS21 co-organised a two-day event, ASEAN Regional Workshop on Strategic Statistical Planning: Towards a stronger ASEAN Community Statistical System, in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Organized at the initiative of PARIS21, the Abidjan regional seminar brought together policy-makers and Directors-general of National Statistical Offices to explore ways to collaborate in improving development strategies and in developing national statistical systems as part of the country poverty reduction policy.
