The OECD will host the 7th Statistical Information System Collaboration Community (SIS-CC) workshop at the OECD Conference Centre, 2, rue André Pascal, Paris, France, from 1.30pm on Monday 3 April 2017 to 6pm on Tuesday 4 April 2017.
This year the workshop theme will focused on “Sustainable Data for Development - Building an inclusive data ecosystem”, exploring new models to support developing countries in building data dissemination capabilities, leveraging the SIS-CC community model into a broader alliance for data. The discussion will draw on the dimensions identified in 2016: new business model (hybrid open source, community model), service centric and componentised architecture (SDMX, CSPA) distributed software development (agile) – with the addition of one more dimension: capacity building, or what could be the model for a systematic sharing of knowledge and know how based on common approaches and tools.
PARIS21 will present some of its recent research on data portals.
