The Bhutan Statistical System (BSS) led by the National Statistics Bureau (NSB) organised an ADAPT workshop on 3-6 September 2018, in collaboration with PARIS21. The workshop was part of the BSS’ data assessment activity where ADAPT is used as an assessment tool. The outputs from the assessment activity will be used in the finalisation of the new Bhutan National Strategy for the Development of Statistics (NSDS). The use of ADAPT in the NSDS process strengthens the link between statistics and policy, specifically in mapping data demands arising from national development frameworks/plans vis-à-vis data supply in the national statistical system.
