Open Data Conference

In collaboration with Open Data Watch (ODW), PARIS21 presented at the International Open Data Conference (IODC) on National Reporting for SDGs: Open Data Priority Actions. This side event was the second time that both the official statistics and the open data community were brought together to  to define strategies to advance open data both globally and locally. This was a crucial stepping stone in bringing together users and alternative producers closer to the official statistics community. For the first time, a representative of UNSD, Francesca Perucci, addressed this community and called for closer collaboration.
