Meriem Ait Ouyahia is the Gender Data Network Coordinator at PARIS21, where she works with gender statisticians in countries, Data2X, Open Data Watch as well as the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) and other UN regional commissions to advance the gender data agenda and support countries in the production, communication and use of gender data and statistics. Prior to joining PARIS21, she worked many years at UNECA on statistical development issues and at the Government of Canada on various sustainable development topics.
