citizen-generated data unsc

We are pleased to invite you to the webinar 'Partnering to strengthen citizen-generated data: Learning from the experiences of national statistical offices' taking place next week Thursday 10th February 9-10am EST (3-4pm CET) on the sidelines of the 53rd session of the UN Statistical Commission (UNSC).

The event will be an opportunity to hear from national statistical offices (NSOs) and the statistics community on progress made in strengthening citizen-generated data (CGD) and what remains. This event is jointly hosted by the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data, PARIS21, UN Women and the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics and will provide an opportunity to discuss the experiences and lessons from NSOs and other organizations who have put in efforts to strengthen CGD. The event aims to foster learning across NSOs and discuss ways to scale up efforts on CGD. The event contributes directly to the discussion on Data and indicators for the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and Data Stewardship at the 53rd session of the Commission.
