The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), in partnership with PARIS21, organized a national workshop to launch the project on Citizen Generated Data (CGD) for Official Reporting in the Philippines in an effort to facilitate open discussion with civil society organizations and to explore the potential use of their data in reporting SDGs.  The project aims to assess whether CGD in the Philippines would have the potential to fill the SDG data gaps identified by the PSA under Tier 2 (55 indicators) and Tier 3 (71 indicators). The expected outputs from the project include an inventory of available CGD in the Philippines, an inventory of SDG data gaps that may be filled by CGD, a data quality measurement framework, and a case study report on CGD in the Philippines.
