The clearinghouse is a new platform developed by the network to help countries and their development partners identify funding opportunities, bring projects to scale, advocate for support to data and statistics and connect to new partners. 09:00 - 10:00 Where to start first – Identifying the leverage points to measure effective capacity development: This session aims to define strategies that strengthen the core capacities of national data ecosystems. Huge data demand and increasing voices to embrace new roles, exercise pressure on already strained national statistical offices in low and middle-income countries. The panellists representing government, research, international organisations and the corporate sector will look at these strategies from their perspectives and reflect on the roles of different data stakeholders. In addition, the session will look at the measurement of success in capacity development.
