Under the ‘Advancing dissemination of SDGs and other indicators using .Stat Suite’ project*, PARIS21 participated in a mission to the National Institute of Statistics (NIS) of Cambodia that assessed existing data flow mechanisms the NIS uses along with infrastructure and capacity needs.

The mission was jointly undertaken by UNICEF, OECD and PARIS21 and proposes a strategic approach to sustainably develop the relevant capacities in national statistical offices. For NIS Cambodia, this will involve maximising the ‘return-on-investment’ of technology solutions applied to statistical processes. UNSD also participated in the mission to support in the areas of SDG reporting, SDMX training and  data modelling.

* This project is being led by the Statistical Information System Collaboration Community (SIS-CC). For more information: https://siscc.oecd.org/
