Taking the opportunity of the attendance of the 2nd meeting of the “Small Island Developing States National Focal Points” hosted by the UN-OHRLLS (Office of the High Representative for Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries and Small Island Developing States), PARIS21 held a working session with the NSO of Cabo Verde (INECV). The session focused on the revision and adjustment of the planned activities for this year as well as an update on the work of the Praia City Group on Governance Statistics, tasked with developing a Handbook for adoption by the UNSC at its upcoming session in 2020. INECV is the secretariat of this City Group and PARIS21 is a Steering Committee member and chapter lead on “Openness”.
