PARIS21, in collaboration with the Agence Nationale de la Statistique et de la Démographie (ANSD) of Senegal and Center for Creative Leadership, organised a two-day Leadership Training for West African National Statistics Offices. The training targeted Heads of NSOs from 12 countries namely Benin, Burkina Faso, Cabo Verde, Cote d'Ivoire, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Equatorial Guinea, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Senegal and Togo. The training aimed at equipping the Heads of statistics with the leadership and change management skills necessary to better respond to the emerging needs of the 2030 Agenda. The workshop was held in Dakar, Senegal, on 25-26 October 2016.
